How to enjoy a meal out
Yep, we’re THOSE parents. The ones who shamelessly pull out the portable DVD player and plop it in front of our 18-month-old at Red Robin. Decker started getting a bit restless during our meal, so I put some Barney on for him and it was almost like Scott and I were out to dinner alone! Heaven. (Hey, don’t knock it ’til you try it.)

Hey do whatever it takes. I have three kids and I’ve learned to use whatever I have to keep them calm. They behave really well most of the time, but kids are kids. I drag my kindle fire and the leapster along with us everywhere.
Parents need to have “them” time. You do what you have to do.
Yeah, we totally need one for the car!
We love Red Robin… so kid friendly! We kept our old iPhones when we upgraded, loaded some educational games and Toy Story 3 onto them, and now use them to keep our girls entertained when we go to restaurants… it’s been a lifesaver!
what did mothers do before iphones and ipads?? i know we would be lost without them!
He’s happy and you and your husband were able to hold a conversation. WIN.
