Easter
On Friday afternoon, Decker had an Easter egg hunt at his daycare. He only looked for eggs for about two minutes before deciding to play. I guess he’s not old enough to be competitive yet! After the egg hunt, we traveled to my parents’ house for the weekend. It’s about a 3-hour drive and Decker was in no mood to nap or be in the car. Thank God for iphones! I sat in the back with him and played Clifford videos on youtube.
The rest of the weekend was spent visiting with my parents, which was great. I’m so mad that I didn’t get very many pictures because on Easter, we were a little rushed to get to brunch and then we had to pack up to leave.
I told myself it’s okay not to get pictures of everyone at every single event. I haven’t been taking many pictures lately, so it feels good to get back into it.
Even though we had a wonderful weekend, it never ceases to amaze me just how much work having a baby (now toddler) is. Between packing, traveling, chasing Decker around a much larger house, not being able to sleep great due to being in a queen bed and then coming back home to a list of chores, I am exhausted! Heading to work today was my break.
Shots from Decker’s daycare Easter egg hunt. Challenging light, as you can see! I just purchased some new actions from My Four Hens and I am loving them. I know the processing is all over the place, but that’s the beauty of being a hobbyist. I can do what I want because it’s fun.

Great shots!
